Within the South Coast AQMD region, any owner or operator conducting earth-moving activities of soil with applicable toxic air contaminants must comply with Rule 1466. Health Science Associates has been supporting varied environments, such as schools, courtrooms and manufacturing facilites as they respond and prepare for the COVID-19 pandemic. Our CIH’s and CSP’s were able to assist those organizations in performing COVID-19 related risk assessments specific to their operation(s), developed COVID-19 Response Plans, provided training for employees, and performed sampling investigations as well.
We've been approved to provide the course for Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) to attend the newly approved CDPH 3 Day Lead in Construction course. This course enables a CIH to attend only 3 days of instruction rather than the 5 to 10 instruction days required to be eligible to sit for the Inspector/Assessor, Supervisor and/or the Project Monitor Certification exams. We'll be updating our training calendar with our next offering as soon as we are able to host a class. Feel free to contact our office for more information!
